Empower Quarantine Film Competition
Cash Prizes - Free to Enter
We will be hosting a 72 Hour film Competition to encourage everyone to stay active, creative, and support each other.
The Competition has cash prizes and it is free to enter. There will be two categories for kids and adults. The first competition will take place May 22nd - May 25th (Previously 24th) and you will have one line and one prop to include announced on our Facebook page and Instagram. This competition is not genre specific and you can use any camera you have including your phone!

Empower Video Productions has been focused on trying to empower everyone particularly artists, filmmakers, and small businesses that are being affected by COVID-19. We encourage you to include a business in some capacity whether it be a flyer or mention, they need our help.

EMPOWER QUARANTINE COMPETITION SLATE
​
1. Send an email to info@empowermp.com with name or team name. Like our Facebook page. Filmmakers must follow regular you tube rules.
2. Films must have the slate (included in email) in the beginning and Upload your film onto the Empower Video Productions Facebook Page. If you don't have facebook you can email us with a youtube link!
By submitting to the competition you have granted Empower video productions permission to screen your film.
3. Film making Rules:
A. The prop and necessary line that must be included in your film will be posted on May 22nd at 7pm PST on the Empower video production’s Facebook and Instagram pages. This item/ line must be in the film to be included in the competition.
B. Films must be made in the filmmakers’ home vicinity with social distancing being practiced.
C. Films should not be more than 5 minutes in length.
4. Winners will be judged and decided by a panel of professionals, prioritizing ability to tell story, cinematography, and performance.
